Weekly Feature | Jessice Irelan Photography

We are so excited to have Jessica from Jessica Irelan Photography with us at the Snappy Mama this week! Make sure you go and check out her work! It is incredible! This week, she has picked the theme {soul mates.}  And we are loving the submissions so far.

Now - let's get to know Jessica.

Give us a photography related goal you hope to accomplish?
One of my biggest goals in this industry would have to be my work being published and people knowing who I was worldwide.
Tell us three things about you, unrelated to photography.
Three things about me unrelated to photography is I am a Mother of two little girls ages 4 and 2 ( you will see them many times on my Photography page :) I was born and raised on the beaches of South , Florida but now live in the Desert and I am obsessed with buying clothing for my stylized shoots! <3
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and what is something you'd like to photograph from there?
If I could live anywhere in the world and photograph something from there, it would have to be somewhere that had the ocean close, lots of bright flowers and greenery AND mountains the complete package. I would have to say Ireland. I'm part Irish and it has always been somewhere I have wanted to visit and seeing all the images of the Country they are absolutely breath taking!

What is your favorite piece of gear you own, or what are you lusting after?
My favorite piece of gear right now is my 70-200 2.8. The bokeh I get is amazing and I'm obsessed, money well spent to anyone who is considering!
What is your best advice you would give yourself if you could go back to the beginning?
A: When I first started I would see all these other Photographer's images and would want so badly to produce the same edit but I got tired and didn't really want to be like everyone else, I love the rich warm tones and I am in love with the soft dreamy lighted photos. I definitely am inspired from other Photographer's work but I don't try to copy their images, I just take in the inspiration and try to create my own,  so my best advice to myself when I first started would be, don't try to copy other people's style, creative your own and I think I've done that pretty well.

Keep your {soul mates} photos coming in and make sure you have a fabulous week!
XOXO, Allison and the Mamas
