Spotlight On: {Tina from In His Image Film & Photo}

Oh, HEY Mamas!

First thing's first... you all ROCK.  We've been a little extra 'all over the place' this past week or so at The Snappy Mama and y'all just keep on keepin' on!  I am LOVING the belly laughs submissions this week and we are so blessed to have Tina Norman from In His Image Film and Photo as this week's judge!

Here's a little bit more about Tina:

1. When did your photography journey begin?

In 2011 I got bit by the photography bug…hard. I fell in LOVE with the low, hazy sun photos and the romantic shots of couples in love! I started off taking pics of just my kids (I had two little boys at the time, now I have 3) with a used camera I bought on Craigslist! From there I realized quickly that I wanted to try my hand at all kinds of photography with the goal in mind that one day I would primarily shoot weddings!

2. Name a photographer who inspires you. What draws you to their work?

Katelyn James! I first noticed her work on Pinterest. I kept coming across these colorful, beautiful images with such great light and I noticed that it was the same photographer time after time! I started following Katelyn before I even bought my first camera! I have loved not only Katelyn's shooting style but her willingness to teach others and her love for Jesus Christ that she is so willing to be transparent about. Last month I was able to meet Katelyn for the first time! It was awesome to meet someone who I look up to so much!

3. Canon or Nikon?

Canon! It's all I have really ever known but I can't imagine shooting anything else!

4. Give us a photography related goal you hope to accomplish within a year.

This year is HUGE as my husband and I prayed a lot and decided it was time to pay OFF all debt! We have budgeted so that this is doable… although it won't be easy! I am not one of those people who has a TON of gear because I go into debt over it. I believe in conducting my business debt free! As Dave Ramsey says, “If you will live like no one else, later you can live like no one else.” We have dedicated ALL of the income from my photography work this year to pay off debt.

5. What program do you use to edit your images?

Lightroom and Photoshop! I love how easy Lightroom is to use and I really only use photoshop on occasion for something I can't do in Lightroom.

I just love these captures and there is a TON more on her page, so head on over and check it out!  Thanks again to Tina and we can't wait to see what the 2nd half of the week brings for your 'belly laugh' images...this first half has been pretty awesome!
